Held globally, the Spirit of Math® International Contest gives students from grades 1 to 6 the opportunity to prepare, apply, and showcase their knowledge on the global stage, and provides an opportunity for students to have fun and to develop their mathematical problem-solving abilities.
The Contest Prep course is designed for internal and external students who want to build their problem-solving skills and to prepare for the annual International Spirit of Math Contest.
Students will meet for six 1.5-hour classes to work through some previous Spirit of Math Contests. Classes will be held at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the following dates:
Jan 9, 2026 - Lesson 1
Jan 10, 2026 - Lesson 2
Jan 16, 2026 - Lesson 3
Jan 23, 2026 - Lesson 4
Jan 24, 2026 - Lesson 5
Jan 30, 2026 - Lesson 6
Each class includes cooperative work, drills, problem of the day, homework take-up, past contests and teaching of contest related math concepts and strategies. During the last class, students will write a practice contest.
This registration is for the Spirit of Math Contest Prep only. It does NOT include the contest registration.
